Writer/Director/Producer Kate A. Brandt
is a Los Angeles-based writer with a background in queer and feminist activism
and classical violin. She wrote the award-winning documentary series Cavalcade of Enchantment for NBC in New Mexico.
Her short script Marina's Cello was a finalist in the 2008 Vine Shorts Fest and the 2008 Duke City Shootout, and her feature
script June Junior, a transgender coming-of-age dramedy, was a finalist in the Outfest Screenwriting Competition. Her
one-hour television spec scripts include a very queer family drama pilot called Coldwater. This is her first film.

She has performed many guest star roles on TV. Look for her in 3Way, the comedic lesbian web
series, for which she is also a writer and producer.
